2026 FOP Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

The TVL 11 Foundation, Inc. in partnership with the Fraternal Order of Police Treasure Valley Lodge 11 has established scholarships to be used at Colleges and Universities throughout the United States to assist academic students who reside within the Treasure Valley.  Scholarships will be awarded to affiliated students of a member or dependent of a member of the Treasure Valley Lodge as well as, to non-affiliated or non-member students.  The awards for each scholarship will be determined by the Board for all applications.  All applications must be submitted to our Lodge no later than April 30^th, 2026.  Each of the following scholarships shall be awarded in the following: 

 

$2000-Member 

$1500-Member 

$1000-Member 

$1000-Non-Member 

$500-Non-Member 

 

1. Must be a current registered full-time student in high school or college (12 credits minimum each semester). 
2. Please attach proof of enrollment. 
3. Must be a U.S. citizen and an Idaho resident. 
4. First time applicants will be given preference. 
5. Applicants who will be or are receiving full athletic or scholastic grants-in-aid cannot apply. 
6. Applicants must have a minimum current 2.5 cumulative grade point average.  
7. Please attach copy of your transcript, including courses taken and grades achieved. 
8. Continuing university or college applicants placed on disciplinary probation prior to receiving the scholarship will forfeit the award. 
9. The recipient will be expected to maintain full-time student status for the award period. 
10. Applicant will attach a one-page essay to this application, outlining their academic goals and objectives and how award of this scholarship will assist them in meeting their future challenges.
